I'm Back!

You knew I couldn’t stay away lol. Once a blogger, always a blogger.

My OG followers will remember my very first blog, “The Sassy Grey,” which was a blog about retraining my retired racehorse, Misty Mystique. I started it in 2011. Over time, it became less about horse training and turned into an equestrian lifestyle blog, so I renamed it after myself, the “Maryland Equestrian,” because that’s who I am. A horse girl who lives in the great state of Maryland.

I started having some technical issues with my Wordpress site a few years ago, so I gradually stopped posting. I kept meaning to bring it back, but life got busy. But that’s no excuse – everyone’s busy, right? But I couldn’t stay away, so welcome to my new blog on Substack! I’m hoping this platform is easier and more forgiving than my previous one.

I will still be posting similar content to years past – little tidbits about my life on the farm, life with horses, house project updates, horse shows, book reviews, info about my books and author journey, travel, and much more.
