Jolly Old England
I’m so excited to share that James and I are heading to England in July! This will be our first time visiting, and we are looking forward to being tourists in both London and out in the countryside.
But I need your help – if you have any recommendations on where to stay, eat, what to do, etc., please send them my way! We want to see and do all the things with a heavy emphasis on historical AND riding tours, naturally.
I have made reservations to tour Highclere Castle, (aka Downton Abbey), as well as ride in Hyde Park in London and out in the Cotswolds at Jill Carenza Equestrian.
“With over 50 horses and ponies to suit any level of ability and challenge, people come from all over the UK and around the world to ride at Jill Carenza’s. Set in the picturesque village of Stanton at the foot of the Cotswolds escarpment, riders can be up in the hills enjoying magnificent views on many miles of paths and bridleways, with virtually no roadwork.”
Sounds so dreamy, right?
But other than these three, I haven’t planned or booked anything else, so please help! This has been a trip I’ve been wanting to take forever, so I’m excited to finally make it happen! And, of course, I will take you all along with me on my Instagram accounts, @marylandequestrian and @authorlaurieberglie
.
