Letting Go of LETTING GO

Well, I did it! I let LETTING GO out into the world on 9/21/26!

Publishing a new book is always so nerve-wracking. What if absolutely no one buys it? What if I get a hundred one star reviews overnight? What if, what if, what if? But after all those hours of hard work writing and editing and formatting and marketing, I can’t keep this thing to myself. Out into the world you go, book! Make good choices! Make me proud!

As I’ve grown older, I have also started caring less and less about what other people think. Do I want everyone who reads my books to love them? Of course. But if they don’t, that’s okay too. Bad reviews or not, I’m going to keep writing, going to keep doing the thing I love. And my readers – the ones who love the world I’ve created on the Maryland Manor – they will find me.

That said, I’ve been so pleased with the launch for LETTING GO! Only a few days in and sales have been great, and it earned the #1 New Release spot in the Horse Showing & Training category! So a huge thank you to everyone who purchased the book, has shared my posts on social, and has already reviewed it!
